A minimal application to quickly manage the list and ordering of raw materials on sale.

Critical issues

Building the new application quickly and with low costs.
Importing date from a previous obsolete application.
Dealing with items with many technical details and attachments.
Keeping the editing phase as simple and as quick as possible.

How we’re involved

We have been part of the project from the very beginning. We reviewed the existing application and, for once, decided that building a new application was definitely more convenient that trying to renew the existing one.

How we approached the project

  • Carefully reviewing the features of the existing application.

  • Reducing the features at a minimum to contain costs and times.
  • Using a single Symfony project without a separate frontend.
  • Setting up a STAGE instance as soon as possible to get early client feedback.
